Lacak Malaria
Description *
Lacak Malaria is a cellphone based malaria reporting system using an Unstructured Service Supplementary Data (USSD) Menu Browser, or UMD. Monitoring reports submitted by SMS to *200*789*1*xxx#. Lacak Malaria is used by 32 puskesmas (health community centres), 30 pustu (supporting health community centres), 123 polindes (village health clinics) and 1 plasmodia unit. There are 186 staff that submited their reports through Lacak Malaria. With this system, the Malaria Center reduced its data collection time by 19 days, making it much more responsive to public health trends.
