Information about the project
MiGobierno
Through RapidPro, an opensource two-way SMS communication platform, government institutions can communicate with citizens directly and personalized way to improve the delivery and quality of public services. In the first project of its kind, Mexico implemented the solution with pregnant beneficiaries of Prospera, the world's second largest cash transfer program, to communicate maternal and infant health messages and promote positive changes in behaviour. The results for users and government have been overwhelmingly positive, and the solution is currently being scaled to all pregnancies in Mexico, chronic and degenerative diseases, and other projects regarding agriculture, environmental impact and justice procurement.
