The National Agency for Information Society (NAIS) is an Albanian public institution, dependent on the Council of Ministers. The agency is conducted by Mrs. Mirlinda Karçanaj, a prominent expert and mentor in ICT. The core of NAIS’ activity consists on providing centralized online services through ICT. The e-albania portal is the most excellent example that NAIS has carried out, providing communication between state institutions and Albanian citizens. From 2013 dozens of projects implemented by NAIS and related to e-services have aided in expanding e-albania and its continuous improvement, hence raising Albania to another level of achievement in the ICT.
