Severe turmoil in Syria has created the worst refugee crisis displacing more than 4 million refugees from Syria. The overwhelming influx of refugees into Turkey has reached over 3.1 million people over the past 2 years, making Turkey the host country with the largest refugee population in the world. Turkcell has been a pioneer in mobilizing the power of communication, serving about 1.2 million Syrian customers Turkcell is the operator of choice for Syrian refugees. ''Hello Hope'' application is developed to ease adaptation phase of refugees to Turkey and to bring connectivity to essential services to the Syrian community in Turkey.
