ICT and broadband capacity building for Central American region
CEABAD
The Inter-American Development Bank, the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning of the Republic of Korea, and the Telecommunications Regulatory Entity of Nicaragua established CEABAD for public officials to increase the capacity of government officials in six Central American countries and the Dominican Republic on June 2014 in Nicaragua. The Center offers e-learning programs, face to face workshops, and regional forums. Currently, more than 2,444 government officials in Central American region have been trained by the programs of CEABAD. This focus corresponds to the WSIS Action Line #4.
