Security and Integrated Flood Network
SAIFON
Under the Smart Community initiative, MCMC has developed key programs to foster challenges in fulfilling the vision of Smart Nation which includes access to information and communication infrastructure. One of the programs is called Security and Integrated Flood Network (SAIFON). SAIFON consists of basic IOT components which is Hardware, Network and Data Analytics to bring solution to the communities in creating a better way of life through the use of ICT. This is also in line with one of the objectives of Smart Community. The system is fully developed by Malaysians and currently being used at Kota Belud Smart Community.
