Description *
The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has launched Kuwait Finder Project as part of the GIS program in PACI. Kuwait Finder was released for State of Kuwait society to provide a localized GIS based search engine, which support searching for an address up to the flat level, and search by establishment name, and business type. Kuwait Finder application was developed by the Public Authority for Civil Information to serve users needs with the following functions: •Search using PACI electronic Number for building, flat, etc… •Search using area name, block number , street name or house number •Search for points of interest like hospital, shop or mall, etc.. •Provide quick search through shortcuts that represent different categories of various entities such as shopping centers, schools, or other activities and crafts •Turn-by-Turn voice navigation, and guidance in Arabic, and English •Saving your favorite places •Provide information for social activities, and their locations •Provide the functionality to display both vector, and satellite maps •Sharing locations via Facebook, Twitter or email
