Oman Government Cloud
A major element of the national eOman strategy is the G-Cloud project an Oman Government Cloud initiative for serving Omani government entities. It is a Private Cloud shared IT infrastructure for Government entities initiated by the Information Technology Authority (ITA). It is fully built on Free Open Source Solution (FOSS). For citizens, this translates into a more connected world where they can access their data and information at virtually any time from just about anywhere. The G-Cloud is currently serving 13 government entities.
