This photo was taken in LUGAR DE INVENTOS, a maker program launched by Chicos.net – a well known argentinian NGO - in partnership with the argentinian Ministry of Science and Technology. This is the first makerspace in Argentina held in a public space. The program offers STEAM activities for children and focus on vulnerable groups (girls, poor, rural and other minorities). The main goal is to use technology as an instrument of social inclusion. We stimulate children to express themselves using technology, to be creative, to understand the digital media they consume and become smart, active and critical users.
